In the past six weeks, our group has got to experience going to canoeing. Prior to going on a canoe voyage, we worked as a team to learn how canoes functioned by learning how to paddle, understanding when the tide is in or out and how to care for a canoe.

Our group got to learn different Hawaiian words such as Laulima, Aloha, Malama, an much more with our instructor Sui-Lan. Not to mention, we got a chance to learn how to construct our own paddles.

As a science project, we got to take a trip to the makerspace to design our own soaps and chocolates out of potatoes using a vacuum press.
